Directions: From SH121 go North on Main (FM423) Just past Trinity North Medical Center, turn left into the driveway of the Denton County Courts Building. Lakeside Arts Building is behind the Government Center at the top of the hill.

Welcome to the home page for the Lake Area Amateur Radio Klub (K5LRK) located in southern Denton county, Texas. Serving the Lewisville Lake area communities of Frisco, The Colony, Lewisville, Highland Village, Lake Dallas, Little Elm, Hickory Creek, Flower Mound, and Corinth, TX.

The L.A.A.R.K. operates a 2-meter repeater (147.38+, pl 110.9) in southern Denton county. Our club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month. All are welcome to come and share our hobby, even If you do not have an Amateur Radio License! For more information go to the meetings section.

There were 11 members present at our March meeting. Hank made a presentation with a handout that described basic aspects of PSK radio. There was also a working PSK rig for the members to observe. All members were requested to give Dan ideas for workday projects. We continued the discussion of moving the day of Klub meeting to Monday to resolve conflicts that some members were having with Tuesday nights. All members present had no conflicts with the change to Monday night or leaving it at the current day and time. Dan will ask for input from area Hams through thecolonylaark e-mail group on Yahoo. After discussion the Tuesday night net will change back to the previous time of 8:00pm. Please leave your input on what would be the most convenient meeting and net day and time for you on the form below.........

Net starts at 7:00PM at frequency 147.38+ pl 110.9 (Backup net repeater is 145.170- pl 110.9). Net is not held on Klub meeting night.
