Good evening. My call is KILO CHARLIE 5 JULIET OSCAR ECHO. I will be your Net Control Operator for tonight’s Lake Area Amateur Radio Klub’s Information Net.

This net is held every Tuesday Night at 8:00 PM on this frequency to provide a forum for Amateur Radio Activity, Announcements, and for the Exchange of Amateur Radio related information between the participants.

Before we begin tonight’s net, does anyone on frequency have any Priority or Emergency Traffic? If so, please give your call sign now.

Nothing Heard. So let’s begin tonight’s net. My name is Hank and my call is KC5JOE. This evenings net will be conducted as a Controlled Net to enhance our net training. This means that no communication should take place other than that directed by the Net Control Operator.

If however during the net anyone has an Emergency, they should interrupt the Net by saying the words BREAK BREAK, at which time they will be recognized and the emergency handled.

This net will be divided into three basic sections. They are Announcements Section; General Comments on Amateur related subjects Section; and a Technical and Amateur Related Equipment Swap or Purchase Section.

In order to prevent doubling during the check-in, please key your mike and say "This Is" then unkey your mike and listen for doubling. If none is heard, re-key your mike and give your "Call Sign phonetically followed by your First Name". Please take it slow so I can record the information.
